The Hernando County Jail is located just outside of Brooksville on the outskirts of Spring Hill. If you are coming from the south (Tampa) you will need to exit at Spring Hill Drive from the Veterans Toll road and turn right. If you travel about a mile down Spring Hill Drive, the Hernando County Jail will be on your left. If you are traveling from the North (Ocala, Gainesville), you will need to exit the Brooksville exit off of I-75 and turn right. Once you get to the intersection of Truck Route SR50 turn left. You will then need to turn left at the intersection of US41 and Truck Route SR50. Upon heading south on US41 you will take right(west) onto Spring Hill Drive and the Hernando County Jail will ultimately be on your right. The address for the Hernando County Jail is 16425 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida 34604 – phone 352-799-7379. BE CAREFUL when discussing anything with a loved one at the Hernando County Jail, as all phone conversations are recorded and will be used against the defendant.
The address of the main Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is 18900 Cortez. Blvd, Brooksville, Florida 34601 – phone 352-754-6830. BE CAREFUL when discussing anything with any employee, deputy, detective, secretary, anything at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office as all phone conversations are recorded and will be used against the defendant. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Department also has satellite locations, or substations, at Ridge Manor (Eastside) 352-583-3355; South Brooksville 352-799-1515; Hernando Beach 352-597-3300; Masaryktown 352-754-1235; Hillside Estates 352-799-2815; Spring Hill 352-688-5000. AGAIN, BE CAREFUL when discussing anything with law enforcement at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office as all phone conversations are recorded and will be used against the defendant.

The Brooksville Police Department is physically located at – and AGAIN, please be very careful when discussing anything with Brooksville law enforcement as all conversations will be used against you or your loved one.

The Brooksville, Florida Hernando County Courthouse is the home to the Hernando County Judges, the Hernando County State Attorney’s Office, The Hernando County Public Defender’s Office, the Hernando County Commissioners, the Hernando County Clerk’s Office, the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections and a myriad of other Hernando County government agencies. The Hernando County Courthouse is located in Brooksville, Florida at 20 North Broad Street, Brooksville, Florida 34601 – phone 352-754-4000.
Driving direction to the Hernando County Criminal Courthouse are as follows:
From the South (Tampa) – head North on the Veteran’s Toll road 589 –exit Spring Hill Drive and turn right onto Spring Hill Drive – take spring Hill Drive until it dead ends into US 41 – turn left (north) onto US41 – take US41, which will change its name to Broad Street all the way through town until you reach the Hernando County Courthouse which will be on your left. From the North (Ocala, Gainesville) – take I-75 south until the Brooksville exit – turn right onto SR50 – take SR 50 into Brooksville – do not turn left onto Truck Route 50, stay the course – SR50 will bring you straight to the Hernando County criminal courthouse, as it will be on your left. From the East (Orlando) – take SR 50 straight into Brooksville – do not turn left onto Truck Route SR50 – SR50 will lead you directly to the Hernando County Criminal Courthouse, you will see it on your left.
