News: Woman, Boy Unharmed After Car Crashes Into Biscayne Bay

MIAMI, FL - A woman and her son were spared from injuries after their car drove through a gate and crashed into Biscayne Bay.

The collision occurred at the 2120 block of North Bayshore Drive Tuesday, WSVN reported. Officials said the woman put the car in drive instead of in park, which led her vehicle to plunge into the water.

The mother and the boy could free themselves from the car, were evaluated by medics, and did not require medical treatment at a hospital.

Crews pulled the car from the water.
