News: Woman, 64, Hurt After Miami Hit-And-Run Crash Near MLK

MIAMI, FL - A pedestrian was sent to the hospital after a hit-and-run collision around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The crash happened in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 60th Street, Local 10 reported. A woman was walking when a driver of a blue Toyota struck her.
The driver did not notify authorities or render aid and fled the scene.
The woman was identified as 64-year-old Initha Lipscomb. Officials said she sustained possible hip and leg injuries.
Lipscomb was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
