News: Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Palmetto Expy. at 8th St.

MIAMI, FL – First responders rushed to the scene of a vehicle fire on the Palmetto Expressway early this afternoon.

According to Total Traffic Miami, the fire broke out in the northbound lanes of the freeway near 8th Street and the Dolphin Expressway interchange.

We do not know at this time what may have sparked the blaze. Traffic camera footage from the scene shows one vehicle fully engulfed in flames with all northbound lanes of traffic halted.
