News: Two FMU Students Killed in Miami Gardens Crash

MIAMI GARDENS, FL - A hit-and-run crash claimed the lives of two 19-year-old women in Miami Gardens Sunday.
The collision took place around 11:30 p.m. on the 16300 block of NW 42nd Avenue, according to CBS Miami.
A driver of a silver Infiniti, a 35-year-old man, was speeding when he struck the young women, two Florida Memorial University students, as they were walking on Northwest 42nd Avenue.
The driver did not render aid and fled the scene on foot. Officials said he tried to enter someone’s home, and shots were fired.
The man was arrested and will face unspecified charges.
One of the students was identified as Asiayanna Green.
