News: Police IDs Man Killed in Gladeview Hit-And-Run Crash

MIAMI, FL - Miami-Dade Police have identified the pedestrian whose life was claimed in a hit-and-run collision in Gladeview.

The crash happened near a 24-hour laundromat in the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest 79th Street on Wednesday, March 15th, Local 10 reported.

The driver was believed to have driven a black Hyundai Elantra or something similar. As officials indicated, the driver struck 43-year-old Osei Othieno Shepherd, and immediately fled the scene.

Shepherd was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he later succumbed to fatal injuries.
