News: Police Arrest Driver in Connection to Deadly Hit-And-Run on S. Federal Hwy.

BROWARD CO., FL – The driver of a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday was taken into custody on Thursday.
According to NBC Miami, the crash occurred at about 1 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the South Federal Highway near Southeast 6th Street.
Investigators say 34-year-old Stephen Sherburne’s black 2022 Ford Edge rear-ended the motorcycle. The unidentified rider was thrown from the bike and died a t the scene a short time later.
Sherburne is currently facing a number of charges including, failure to remain at the scene of a crash involving death, leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage and tampering with physical evidence.
