MIAMI, FL - One was critically injured, and one life was claimed in a crash outside of the Miccosukee Casino & Resort Wednesday.

The collision occurred at Krome Avenue and Southwest 177th Avenue around 7 a.m., according to NBC Miami.

A driver of a gray Honda Sedan was turning from Krome Avenue into the casino and was hit by a white GMC pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed. However, the crash’s impact led the Sedan passenger to succumb to fatal injuries.

The Sedan driver was transported to a hospital, where his or her condition is unknown.
