News: Man Hospitalized After Being Shot in Brownsville

MIAMI, FL - A shooting in Brownsville left a man in critical condition Monday morning.

According to WSVN, a suspect shot a man in the area of Northwest 51st Street and 30th Avenue and left him with a noticeable gunshot wound.

The suspect had fled the scene by the time first responders arrived; he or she had not been found. The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center for his injuries.

Details are under investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department.
