News: Girl, 6, Dead After Miami Gardens Multi-Vehicle Crash

MIAMI GARDENS, FL - A 6-year-old girl died following a multi-vehicle crash near NW 215th St. Saturday.

According to Local 10, a driver of a northbound white Dodge made an improper lane change and crashed into a white GMC SUV. The impact caused the Dodge to lose control of the vehicle and collide with a gray Mercedes SUV.

In addition, the impact caused the GMC SUV to catch fire. Thankfully the occupants were able to escape without sustaining any fire-related injuries.

All eight occupants were all transported to a hospital. One of the occupants - the 6-year-old girl - later died from her injuries at the hospital.

Florida’s Turnpike near NW 215th closed for a whil; however, all travel lanes have reopened since.
