MIAMI, FL - More information has come to light regarding Tuesday’s crash near Gwen Cherry Pool.

According to WSVN, the collision occurred in the area of NW 27th Avenue and 71st Street. What prompted the crash was when a driver of a southbound silver SUV lost control of the vehicle and collided with a northbound Miami-Dade transit bus.

The two occupants and drivers were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and are expected to survive.
