News: FHP Trooper Hurt Fort Lauderdale Rear-End Crash

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - A Florida Highway Patrol Trooper and a blue Nissan driver were hospitalized after a crash Tuesday.

The collision occurred around 2 a.m. in a construction zone on the southbound I-75 on-ramp, CBS News reported. The trooper was inside his vehicle when the driver of a blue Nissan hit the back of the FHP patrol car.

Both were taken to Cleveland Clinic for non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the Nissan was cited.
