News: Dump Truck Fatally Strikes Cyclist in East Little Havana

MIAMI, FL - The driver of a Coastal Waste & Recycling garbage truck fatally struck a cyclist in the East Little Havana district at around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The fatal collision happened in the area of West Flagler Street and Eighth Avenue, Local 10 reports. Emergency responders pronounced the cyclist suffered dead at the scene. Police have not released his name and identity, describing him only as a Black adult.

Coastal Waste & Recycling says they are cooperating with the police.
