News: 2 Dead After Crash Near Miami Int. Airport

MIAMI, FL - A driver and passenger were left dead after a single-vehicle crash on westbound SR-836 around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The single-vehicle collision took place along Le Jeune Road, according to NBC Miami. A driver of a white Mercedes tried to enter SR-836 and lost control of the curve, colliding with a guardrail and two concrete barrier walls.

The passenger, a woman, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a man, was transported to Ryder Trauma Center, where he gave in to fatal injuries.
